President Lee Says Korea Unification “Inevitable”

Facing North Korea with heavily militarized border line, the Korean Peninsular was divided by two countries for more than 60 years.
We are the only divided countries in the world and it is inevitable that we will come to peaceful reunification at some point,” Lee told reporters in Oslo, Norway.
However, two Korean countries has never any momentum of peace and reunification after the brutal Korean was in 1950~1953.
The death of December 17 of North Korean leader Kim Jong-ll and his replacement by his son Kim Jong-Un have relaunched debate in S. Korea about the chance of reunification.
Lee also described the country’s ambitions in the Arctic, as Seoul eyes the opeing routes, the AP news reported.
The two Koreas have remained technically at war since the Korea War ended in 1953 with a truce rather than a peace treaty.
After the summit talk with Norweigian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, two summts reiterated their mutual support for the Arctic program and enomomic ties.
