LG CNS, Chinese developer to build 'smart green city' in Dalian

LG CNS signed with Dalian Tiandi, a Chinese real estate developer, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to build a “smart green city” in Dalian, a major city and seaport in the south of Liaoning Province, northeastern China.

The signing took place at LG CNS‘ headquarters in Seoul, a company spokesman said on Nov. 18.

Under the MOU, the two companies will build an intelligence building combined with the “LG CNS Smart Green Solution” in Dalian.

LG CNS said it plans to expand IT partnership with Shui On Land, the parent company of Dalian Tiandi, for development projects in Dalian, Shanghai and Chongqing.

Smart green city is a futuristic city designed to better the living of residents in efficient and environment-friendly ways.

Han Jin-won, chief of LG CNS‘ China office, said construction of the smart green city in Dalian will bring changes of buildings and urban paradigm, thus prodiving a milestone in the global smart green city market.
