Sesame Street: Elmo’s voice actor replaced after underage sex scandal

As it was widely reported, “Sesame Street” Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash was sexually involved with 4 underage boys and the producers did not want anything to do with him any longer.

Though Clash claimed that the boys were over 18 when he had sexual relations with them, Clash had to resign from his position.

A new puppeteer had to undergo an intense training to take over the Elmo position and finally for the Easter sequence, the newbie was ready and the shoot went smoothly without a hitch.

The specific details of the new puppeteer are not released yet.
