Anheuser-Busch InBev SA (AB InBev), the largest beer company in the industry, has agreed to regain ownership of South Korea's Oriental Brewery or OB for US$5.8 billion including debt, according to a news report Monday.

In 2009, AB InBev sold OB as it sought to reduce its debt.

AB InBev is a Belgian-Brazilian multinational beverage and brewing company headquartered in Leuven, Belgium. It has nearly 25 percent global market share. Its flagship brands include Budweiser.

OB produces several of South Korea's most popular beverages, including the Cass and Cafri lager brands.
