When you travel to a vacation destination, many tourists rely on travel books and Google search to find the restaurants to check out. However, sometimes it is more reliable to ask a local to find the real spots that represent the local flavor.

By asking locals in Vienna, Austria, AJU found a hidden gem, Glacis Beisl, to dine in, It is secretly tucked away from a street. It is not far from Mariahilfer Strasse, a popular shopping street that is not so flooded with tourists. It may be a little hard to find but with its cozy setting and great food, it is worth the effort to visit this restaurant.

Glacis Beisl serve the local fare. This would be the great restaurant to try Schnitzel, a classic Austrian dish.
