SEOUL -- Stray Kids, a new K-pop boy band produced by JYP Entertainment, has successfully made its debut with its very first track "District 9".
The nine-member group unleashed its music video for "District 9" on YouTube on Monday and it was watched more than 2.8 million times in less than 24 hours of its upload. Tens of thousands of global K-pop fans have left comments.
Stray Kids received huge attention from global K-pop fans before its official debut as the group members were the final survivors of "Stray Kids", a survival audition show aired through Mnet in 2017. It is the first boy band to be produced by Park Jin-young, the head of JYP, in four years after GOT7, a seven-member dance group which debuted in 2014.
