Sidus HQ, the 30-year-old's agency, said in a statement on Wednesday that Kim will hold a fan meeting in Seoul on December 8. The actor will express his gratitude for fans' love and support in the fan meeting event titled "Thank You", the agency said.
The actor debuted in 2011 as a TV drama actor and soon led "Hallyu" (Korean cultural wave) that swept across Asian countries in 2015 for starring in "Uncontrollably Fond", a TV hit drama, with popular singer-actress Suzy.
His career came to an unexpected halt in 2017 when Kim was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer, a rare form of cancer that occurs in the upper part of the pharynx behind the nose and above the back of the throat. He indefinitely suspended all his activities to receive drug and radiation treatment.
Kim, made his first public appearance as a presenter at the "2019 Blue Dragon Film Awards" on November 21 for the first time after his hiatus.
