SEOUL -- South Korea's mobile fashion retailer Musinsa will open its very first offline store in Hongdae, the western Seoul district of music and culture, in May. The store will sell Musinsa brand products, including seasonal apparel as well as men's and women's clothing.

Musinsa said in a statement that its flagship store would open on May 26. The store would operate special fitting rooms where customers can try clothes on and take photographs. The platform with about 1.7 million monthly active users has garnered popularity among young consumers with a wide variety of products sold by popular makers including sportswear makers Nike and Adidas.

The platform launched its own brand, Musinsa Standard, in 2017 targeting consumers who want affordable clothing suitable for everyday activities. Musinsa users can get benefits for uploading product reviews with photographs.
