SEOUL -- SKY Technology, the developer of an easy non-fungible token (NFT) business platform in South Korea, tied up with U.S. technology giant Intel to optimize a game environment and promote global joint marketing.

Under a memorandum of understanding, SKY Technology and Intel would promote technology cooperation to implement an optimal gaming environment on personal computers equipped with Intel's central processing units and graphics engines and provide industry-leading advanced features.

"I want to make a game with the best performance through technology collaboration with Intel," SKY Technology CEO Chang sang-ok said in a statement on May 4. "We will try to provide new fun and experience to users of an easy NFT business platform, Sky Play, which is to open soon."

NFT is a unit of data stored on a blockchain network of interlinked virtual ledgers. Each NFT is certified by a blockchain as a unique digital asset that is not interchangeable. The technology can be used in the content industry where proof of ownership is crucial.

Intel said that SKY Technology's game called "Project Satkat" will be able to provide users with an immersive gaming experience by utilizing core technologies of Intel's new Arc graphics.

Starting with easy play-to-earn (P2E) games, SKY Play is to offer a rich variety of lifestyle content including games, sports, education, and art through an easy NFT business platform optimized for mobile user interface and user experience. SKY Play offers a bigger and better space than a simple portal, encouraging users and service providers to grow and thrive within an easy-to-use, reliable, and trustworthy ecosystem.
