SEOUL -- BTS' agency will greet fans through "2023 BTS FESTA," a festival that will be held in June to celebrate the group's 10th debut anniversary. The seven-member band debuted on June 13, 2013.

Big Hit, the band's agency, uploaded a promotional video of BTS FESTA on Twitter to tell fans about the annual event, which will begin on June 12. Without disclosing specific information, the agency said the 14-day festival will take place at various attractions in the capital city such as Dongdaemun Digital Plaza (DDP), a design and arts center located in the heart of Seoul, and Seoul Tower, a famous tourist spot located near central Seoul.

Big Hit will collaborate with Seoul City for the event that will be hosted under the theme "BTS presents everywhere." All event spots including City Hall and the World Cup Bridge will be stained purple, an iconic color of the seven-member band. The main event will happen on June 17 at a river park in Yeouido, an area near central Seoul where the National Assembly building is located.

BTS has topped Billboard's top 100 popular song chart with six songs over the past 10 years. In 2022, the most popular K-pop album was BTS' album called Proof, which sold more than 3 million copies. In November 2022, the group's disco pop single Dynamite became the first K-pop song that was streamed from the Moon to Earth using an experimental wireless space internet service after the launch of the Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter (KPLO), the first lunar orbiter in South Korea.
