SEOUL -- In an apparent bid to win a battery war with Chinese rivals, LG Energy Solution, the battery-making wing of South Korea's LG Group, disclosed a new battery-making process by applying cell to pack technology to high-nickel pouch-type batteries for the first time in the industry.
